Toothpaste is a rather useful thing, can’t see why they don’t make different flavoured toothpaste though, what’s wrong with having different flavoured breath? Why just mint?
The Colgate Company was formed by William Colgate back in 1806, although its first actual toothpaste wasn’t created until 67 years later! It was sold in jars until 1896. Colgate toothpaste was the first ‘oral care product’ to win a Golden Medal approved by the American Dental Association.
Colgate’s biggest problem was marketing their toothpaste in countries that speak Spanish. The main reason for this is because ‘Colgate’ in Spanish translates to ‘go hang yourself’.
Well, I know it’s a silly thing to wonder but, I wonder if anyone did hang themselves when they saw the toothpaste. Colgate makes your breath more fresh.... then a person that speaks Spanish hang himself because he desperates with his breath and want his breath gets more fresh....:)
